A New Job

As a definite answer to prayers, my husband was able to put his two weeks notice in today! 

He found a new position as a service manager for a growing auto repair shop. Since he has both automotive and management experience, this should be a great opportunity. And the pay has the potential to be pretty nice too–a guaranteed $5K annual raise, and profit sharing related to his sales. 

What a blessing! I love having a husband willing and able to work so hard to provide for his family so I can stay home with the kids and care for them and the house. 

 

 The downside? It’s still in Spokane. Which means a long commute. Though this one is a couple of traffic lights closer than his old job. And since we traded in his Explorer for a Buick LeSabre a few months back, the gas hit is less than in years past.
