Time for a Friday Adventure!
Our morning started with a delicious breakfast (thanks Drew and Mindy!), followed by a walk to the waterfall.
The walk was hot, but it was worth it! Extremely low water levels allowed for some serious waterfall fun that I wasn’t counting on when we left on our adventure.
We were able to climb up the falls and really explore some new areas. There was hiking, balancing, splashing and giggling going on.
Even Owen was able to get into the water, and he drug himself up the first section of falls. It was amazing to see! He can do some wonderful things when properly motivate do, and water is a huge reward for him. (Many thanks to family friend Emilee for helping with Owen!)
There is just something so special about spending time in God’s creation with the kids. It makes me want to break out in songs of praise! What an enjoyable day!
