It has been a while since I shared pictures of the kids, so I thought tonight would be a great time to catch up on that, and give my readers a general update.
I’ll sprinkle in some random pictures and call it a post! Sound good?
How is everyone doing? Here at the farm, we’re still fighting sickness. I think we must spread everything that goes around twice or something…at least my voice came back! I missed it for a day or two last week.
Jeff and Ellie are both readers now, and so happy about their efforts. I love teaching them, and being there next to them as they read–so thankful that the Lord guided us into this homeschooling thing!
Owen’s VNS surgery was delayed yet again–and is now scheduled for October. He will be going to surgery Monday morning to get his G-tube granulation tissue cauterized. ouch! But hopefully it will stop the never ending leak from his tube.
Brynna is pulling to stand and cruising furniture. She’s determined to keep up with the action!
Simon loves things with wheels and getting outside. His two-year old self is always on the move! Thankfully, he’s learning more words to help with communication.
Sydney loves doing her preschool! We’re using Rod and Staff and she’s learning a lot. She’s been hit hard with this cold unfortunately.
Jayme continues her coding work and is tackling website development this month. She’s also taking an online drawing class, and doing neat work!
We are looking forward to steer butchering day on Friday (yeah for beef in the freezer!) and I need to butcher three rabbits soon.
Life is good. We are so thankful for our family, and for the goodness of God!
What’s going on in your life recently?
