 String Turtle

April 16, 2015 Lisa

During quiet time, Jeff, Ellie and Jayme each have a day scheduled for our craft table. There, they have two hours to craft and create to their heart’s content.

Jeff usually gets a box from the basement and creates a boat or car. Ellie uses paper to make sets–drawing and cutting out characters to tell a favorite story.

And Jayme? She gets really creative and finds odds and ends from all over the house to use in her crafting. This week, she used Q-Tips and yarn, and a few basic craft supplies to make a string turtle.

And not just any turtle. No sir, she made Leonardo–my favorite of the teenage mutants.

A cute way to spend craft time!
