Praise the Lord, our search has come to an end! Our little bus is on it’s way home now, being driven by Grandpa Steve and little Miss Ellie. She was so excited to be the first kid to ride in our new bus.
And some of that excitement might have been because she doesn’t need a booster seat since the bus has just lap belts. And she had a fun bag and snack bag for the trip…
But I know how she feels, because I am excited too!
We will work on cleaning it up tomorrow and removing the lettering, and unlawful to pass signage.
(Time for a random side note. When I was a young girl, I used to totally think those signs said “UnAwful to Pass…” And I couldn’t figure it out because I thought it would be awful! End random side note!)
Tax and licensing wasn’t bad, around $600, which was a blessing. After my not so helpful trip to the licensing office yesterday we really weren’t sure what to expect on that end. The plates should arrive in a few weeks, along with the title.
Our bus is a blessing! We will all fit, the lift works smoothly, it has low miles and should last a long time.
If anyone has any advice for removing the lettering, I’d love for you to share!
