Happy Independence Day!

July 4, 2015 Lisa

I hope you have a wonderful 4th of July! I’m thankful for our freedoms, and was reminded this morning just how blessed we are.

Bryan spent a couple hours in the tractor knocking down the barley hay with the swather.
I’m thankful that we get to keep the hay. We aren’t working hard on the land to turn the hay directly over to some master of the land. It can instead be used to feed our animals and keep the nutrients on the same farm.

Our country certainly isn’t perfect, but I am thankful to live in the U.S.!

Look at that–a field that will be ready for baling come Monday!
Have a nice weekend everyone!
