Back in June, I posted about Owen’s surgery.
We ended up rescheduling it, waiting until the hot summer was over. It was supposed to be last month, but the day before surgery he ended up getting pretty badly burned on our wood stove. With open wounds, surgery was rescheduled again.
Enough rescheduling…surgery is on for tomorrow morning. We’d appreciate your prayers–for Owen, for the neurosurgeon and his team, and for Bryan and I.
Since I’m 20 days into this 31 day challenge, let me say that I’m thankful for living in a multi-generational house at this time. Bryan and I are leaving early in the morning with Owen and Brynna, and I know that Dad will be here with the other kids in the morning if they need him. He will help Jayme get everyone breakfast and ready for the day, and then they’re heading to spend the day with some friends.
I’ll let you know tomorrow how surgery goes. Thank you for your prayers!

Oh Lisa, as soon as i opened your page and saw Owens precious face, I started to pray for him. He is so very special, I know you know that but I dont know him and it is obvious by his sweet face. I am so praying:
wisdom and discernment for his surgical team, peace and patience for you and Bryan, blessings on your sweet dad and oldest daughter, peace for the dear siblings, this cant be easy for them either. You are amazing, thank you for sharing your walk. I will be looking forward to reading a great report about dear Owen.
sincerely in prayer with you,
Tammy
